Drove by late morning today and decided to stop for a bit of lunch and so glad we did. Absolutely wonderful! What a brilliant menu for starters! I was spoilt for choice. The staff were helpful, we lunched outside and when I went in to pay, the place was packed with happy families. Just a brilliant venue with a welcoming atmosphere and well done Chef, you did yourself proud. We'll definitely return again soon.
Portions were overwhelmingly large. The soup would have been sufficient for a main course. The bread and fries were extremely over-salted to render them inedible. Instead of the requested two slices of plain bread as a replacement, eight slices were brought! It was just too much.
What a fabulous lunch. A sharing roast for 4 was a well executed idea thoroughly enjoyed by all of us. Service excellent as was the atmosphere. Definitely will be back to take advantage of the wine selection. Our party who had the ale stated it is well kept.
Fantastic example of a pub/restaurant. The atmosphere is very cosy and classic in the pub area and brighter and more modern to the dining area. The menu is great with lots of choice. One of the best pork bellies I've ever had in any restaurant and at a truly affordable price. This place is well worth a visit for a quick drink or a good meal.

Fantastic pub! Fusion of modern and traditional pub with delicious food served in a relaxed environment. Been so many times I can't count both for lunch and dinner. Garden is also a gorgeous addition. I hope will never change!
